Terms of Use & Legal Notice

Last updated: September 28, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Meris Network website (the "Site") and any related services we provide (together, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. About Meris Network

Meris Network is building a consumer network for spare GPU power: people lend a share of their graphics card to AI inference and are paid for the work it completes. The Site presents the project. Information on it is provided for general purposes only, describes a product under development, and may change without notice.

2. Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

3. Intellectual property

The Site and its content, including the Meris Network name and logo, text, graphics, 3D scenes, images, code and design, are owned by Meris Network or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Except for the material credited in section 12 under its own licence, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written consent. "Meris Network" and the Meris mark are trademarks of Meris Network; nothing on the Site grants you a licence to use them.

4. Waitlist and early access

Joining the waitlist is free and does not guarantee access to any product, feature, reward or payment. We may invite people in the order and on the conditions we choose. We process the email you give us as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Contributing compute

Any software that lets you contribute GPU capacity, and any payouts for completed work, will be governed by separate terms that you will be asked to accept before use. Nothing on the Site is an offer of employment, an investment, a security or a promise of earnings. Figures and examples shown are illustrative.

The Site may link to third-party websites and services, such as X (formerly Twitter). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

7. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy or availability. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meris Network and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Meris Network is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence. Any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. By continuing to use the Services after changes take effect, you agree to the revised Terms.
